Our department established in 2005 as the department of Maxillofacial Functional Development. After the retirement of Professor Hideaki Amano, Dr Naito was appointed a new professor and launched the department of Oral Epidemiology in 2018.
Our main research interests are epidemiology and preventive dentistry. We welcome young researchers to work together. We would like to contribute public health education, and support researchers and health professionals who are interested in epidemiology.
