In South Korea, where the population is aging, dental hygienists are required to have the ability to practice oral health management for the elderly and medically compromised patients, just as in Japan. Dr Nishimura and three master's students were invited to Kwangju Women's University for the first time in three years to conduct oral health management practice and practical examinations for 28 Korean dental hygienist faculty members.

A professor from JÖNKÖPING UNIVERSITY in Sweden visited the Department of Oral Health Sciences at Hiroshima University on November 8. We shared information on preventive dentistry in both countries and had a great time together.
