Ms. Nishiki Arimoto, a doctoral student, had a poster presentation. This was the first face-to-face meeting in three years, and the room was buzzing with excitement.
We gave a lecture at the Seoul National University Dental Hospital for the Korean Dental Hygiene Faculty.
Dr. Atsue Matsumoto (Lecturer at Department of Oral Health Sciences, Hiroshima University, Deputy Director of the Center for Dental Hygienist Education and Training) has reached the mandatory retirement age on March 31, 2023. We appreciate her great support and contribution. We look forward to our continued collaboration on education and research.

Professors from Taipei Medical University and Kaohsiung Medical University visited the Department of Oral Health Sciences at Hiroshima University on February 6. We discussed oral management of the elderly and related educational content. We had a wonderful time together.

In South Korea, where the population is aging, dental hygienists are required to have the ability to practice oral health management for the elderly and medically compromised patients, just as in Japan. Dr Nishimura and three master's students were invited to Kwangju Women's University for the first time in three years to conduct oral health management practice and practical examinations for 28 Korean dental hygienist faculty members.
