The Laboratory of Oral Health Epidemiology is located at Kasumi Campus (Hiroshima City). We are in charge of social dentistry education (dentists, dental hygienists, and dental technicians) and dental hygiene education at the Faculty of Dentistry, Hiroshima University, as well as oral care at the Hiroshima University Hospital.
We also focus on human resource development in the Graduate School of Medical Sciences, recurrent education for dental hygienists, and international exchange activities. Based on the philosophy of Hiroshima University, we hope to nurture human resources with a research mindset who can contribute to people’s health in a wide range of fields.
